1) Why should farmers/landowners grow food? Receive rental payments for each turbine of $10,000 per year –no wonder China is buying up land for turbines and electing Democrats!
2) Wind turbines are never running at full efficiency –requiring the perfect wind at 34 mph and the efficiency drops until at 10 mph or 56 mph the turbine has to stop.
3) Wind turbines –besides killing tens of thousands of birds -have also been found to be one of the leading causes of mass bat mortality -with some studies showing a Million/year. Surely we can make a Biological WMD with bats -kill Millions and immediately dominate-control the world -as China did with the China Virus and the total kiss a of China by Democrats.

5) Part of the wind turbine nightmare in Texas -or anywhere -is the ADDITIONAL EXPOSURE to lightning, ice, wind, animals, dig-ins, etc. Texas has about 12,000 wind turbines about 300 feet apart = 682 miles of Additional Exposure to outages in Tex from the wind turbine structures and the underground copper connecting them. That is 682 miles of exposure to the electric grid just from the turbines -and you have to add in all of the hundreds of miles of EXTRA transmission lines, transformers, and protection hardware -before you can think about connecting to an electric grid. All of that EXTRA EXPOSURE to outages is avoided with conventional generation because carbon, hydro, nuclear –all come from one small location.

[[ General thoughts on the Wind Turbine: I read about these places in super cold regions and they never say where the h the heat is coming from -I suspect it’s off of the elec grid -when you are 280 feet or more off of the ground the whole concept of all this heat coming out of thin air is a lie.
Batteries are a function of temp and at zero can’t do much -and will be dead if you use a battery in those conditions for a few minutes -try to start a car that is hard to start at zero temp –about 3 times and your battery will be dead -it’s a fact.
Of course coal, nat gas, nuclear, hydro, pipelines, well heads -all have to be more hardened for winter -but nat Gas is used for Heating America -as well as the main provider for the elec grid of America -so when you harden natural gas and the number of natural gas sites -it is profitable for all of America. When you make more wind turbines you are going to kill a whole lot of Americans and the more turbines you build the more you turn the American Elec Grid into a nightmare. Nothing recyclable about a windmill -requires gallons of carbon lubrication, have to BURY the giant blades, will make the American elec grid into a nightmare.
I love nuclear, hydro, and coal -but the Dem EPA has passed laws and restrictions making nuclear, coal, and hydro impossible -Dems just hate America and our need to go back to making anything in America. We have more coal in America than any other energy source -like 500 years worth -and our technology made burning coal almost pollution free. btw, Biden burning wood in the WH fireplace -wood is the biggest co2 emitter out there -you create co2 when you burn wood and by taking out the trees -not that 60 Minutes or MSNBC ever knew what co2 was. Pretty sad that Americans all demand to have a fireplace in their house -you create a whole wall with almost no insulation, a chimney you can’t close for all of your heat and cold to escape, and you burn trees in your fireplace -sad.
Wind Turbines are only efficient when the wind is 35 mph and don’t work outside of 10 and 56 mph and lose power output anytime conditions are not perfect -all these turbines have to be connected with thousands of miles of underground copper wire (all comes from mining) -copper stock prices tripled as Wall Street saw Democrats in charge of gov. ]]

Solar and wind adds hundreds of miles of EXTRA exposure to ice storms, lightning, wind, tornados, hurricanes, snow, animals, birds, -maintenance costs are unreal with solar and wind turbines. Turbines affect air traffic –especially smaller planes and drones. Thousands of miles of underground copper wire is required for EVERY SOLAR AND WIND FARM BUILT! This copper and aluminum all comes from mining –prices for copper stock have tripled in the last year because the Democrats ARE NOW IN COMPLETE CONTROL OF USING AMERICAN TAXPAYER $DOLLARS to fund solar and wind! Private companies would never build a wind or solar project unless it is owned and funded by their corrupt partners in Washington. Democrats have made federal and state law and regulations to force utility companies to build solar and wind –with no studies showing how many miles of additional exposure to outages that you get with solar and wind –which destroys the power grid -as we saw all across America.
One lightning storm will take out miles of underground copper cable –and those wind turbines will be down for months! A farmer, a construction worker –will dig thru underground elec lines –the difference is the additional hundreds of miles of exposure to being dug into -that you don’t have with conventional power.
Copper wire is required to connect all turbines and solar panels & then you have to build a transmission line to get to the city or load center –this is a brand new transmission line adding exposure to storms and maintenance.
The Texas outages were mainly too much solar and wind power –the solar power was close to ZERO for 2 weeks of clouds and snow cover –the wind turbines shut down completely anywhere there was ice –conventional power has much of the same problems –but the difference is the hundreds of miles of additional exposure that conventional power does not have. Texas did not have enough wells and pipelines to keep the natural gas moving –because of the move to wind and solar (making up 25% of the power grid in Texas).
If Texas or any state wants a solid power grid –it begins with enough pipelines to take care of outages during peak load and emergencies, it begins with drilling on federal land or wherever the most environmentally friendly land is. America –all countries -could not survive without natural gas for heat, electricity, energy. Conventional energy from coal, natural gas, hydro, nuclear, -is continuous and dependable –solar and wind is Not Continuous and will never be dependable because of THE EXTRA EXPOSURE TO OUTAGES THAT CONVENTIONAL ENERGY DOES NOT HAVE. Conventional energy does not care if it’s cloudy or the wind is not blowing the right speed.
Democrats for 40 years USING TAX MONEY AND HIGHER ELECTRIC BILLS to fund solar panels and wind turbines +and the Obama-Biden 8 years of stopping pipelines -and stopping drilling +and especially on gov lands -is the biggest reason for blackouts and outages. California has proven that with many blackouts in the last few years.
Solar power is zero when the sun is not out or the panel is covered with snow. Wind Turbines don’t work in an ice storm -it’s true carbon plants have problems with ice storms but the solar and wind are exposed to several times the area of conventional plants. Solar and wind require miles and miles of ADDITIONAL exposure to lightning, wind, ice storms, maintenance failures -that carbon plants don’t have. The more solar and wind that is built –the less secure and more fragile the power grid becomes –killing Americans during peak power and emergencies.
Forty years of shutting down coal plants, nuclear plants, natural gas plants -all in favor of solar panels and wind turbines KILLED A LOT OF AMERICANS THE WEEK OF 2/15/21. Having coal plants helps provide the diversity required to handle emergencies like cold weather -BATTERIES only work at about 50% of power and go dead much faster in cold weather! The battery ability to help with load at the power grid level is a cruel lie -A room full of batteries can run a normal house for about 1 hour! Battery technology is very slow to develop -the improvements are Media Hype to push corrupt green new deal companies that are funded with tax payer money and owned by Democrats.
America needs coal plants to add to our dependable power grid DIVERSITY. Coal is 100% an American resource -and American technology has made coal plants almost pollution free +no such thing as perfect –All Energy Sources Have Pollution Consequences.
Energy provides life –every job, business, home, our future, economy, security, Military, -ALL depend on energy –and energy that is at lower cost than the rest of the world -or America can no longer compete and America will never make anything again.
Of the many facts that prove solar and wind as basically stupid -the voltage drop (loss of power) at the conventional plant begins with the power plant. The voltage drop or lost power at the solar and turbine begins at each solar panel and each wind turbine –then you tie the load together and find a way to get to an overhead transmission line that can get to substations that can convert to useable voltages –with transformers all along the way to use the highest voltage possible -to cut power losses. So the loss of power with a wind turbine begins 260 feet above the ground where the electricity starts out and the power losses begin –and then –oh well, only Washington could be this stupid!
