China has 1502 huge coal plants, and will continue starting up a new coal plant every week thru at least 2030, China is the world’s biggest polluter and cut a deal with Putin to send Ukrainian coal to China for the next 40 years! +China has common sense: the country with the lowest cost of energy will dominate the world. The lowest cost of energy only comes thru nuclear, coal, and natural gas. Solar and wind are not continuous, the efficiency is around 10%, the costs are double to get the same amount of electricity and require mining for rare earth minerals that are getting harder to find. 80% of the solar panel supply chain is in China. 95% of solar panels are made from polysilicon -half of the polysilicon comes from the forced labor of Uyghurs in Xinjiang, China (yes, China is a slave owner).
+A wind turbine may be 300 to 700 feet high –the power loss starts 700 feet above the ground, requires many miles of copper wire to get to a substation before it can tie into any part of an electric grid. Anything wind and solar ties into is not continuous power and must be backed up with nuclear, coal, and natural gas sources.
+Hydro power is the best, but the Democrat’s environment hawks stopped hydro and even stopped water projects that are drying up Lake Mead (Hoover Dam).
+Wind and solar take up farm land, +kill millions of animals and birds, and are not recyclable.
+We should all want power from as many sources as possible for, but using common sense and not spending $Trillions for charging stations and subsidies when only 1% of all of the vehicles in America are electric. Only 6% of all car sales were elec in 2022, so do the math –This building of 500,000 charging stations for 1% of America is not Common Sense!
